cross country 2017 28th of may

me coming 1st

Last Friday we did the cross country the senior and middles were taking part it took place at the Rotorua Redwoods.

I liked that it was a challenge and a hard run for me now I what to do more training this run was nearly as long as the mini marathon which was which was 2.2 k and cross country was 2.75 but it was not as hard as cross country.

I think that the race was a good challenge of everybody. the redwoods is a great place to run and I thought it was really cool.

the mini marathon 2017

me crossing the finish line

It was the 5 of may on Friday at the Gaverment Gardens the senior school was running the mini marathon. I was  a tiny bit tired when I crossed the finish line of the mini marathon when we finished we got free popcorn and hi fives from jelly belly and gravity man.  The run was only 2.2 km so it was not that hard. Next time I wont to run a bite quicker so i can beat some of my friends.

best camp ever

Best camp ever

Brrrrrrrr  the senior school whizzed of to camp we were going to camp  at a marae in te teko to build our class community higher and higher and  to learn how to live on a marae and mostly to have fun . It was only the first term  I was really excited.

There was one thing at camp that I will never forget was speedily going down the rapids  Tarawera river in a big raft of fun i could do that  thousands of times. We got so soaked  that I felt like a water man.

There is one thing that I still miss so much running around the marea  people trying to tag you our find you.
The survival game was so addictive it was like chocolate to me. We were put into groups
Herbivores, carnivores, omnivores, disease and man. It was heaven we also learnt multiple things like it is hard for  native animals to survive in the wild.

Free time at the marae was cool playing cricket and whacking the ball.

Bye bye I said to the big marea as i left full of  wonderful memories  i would tell my mum and dad a soon as I got home
